Spec 06 // Coverage

Where We Roll: Fort Cavazos, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove

Our coverage ring runs about 18 miles out from central Killeen. That reaches every gate lot, most of Harker Heights and Copperas Cove, and the near edge of Temple.

Killeen sits directly against Fort Cavazos (renamed from Fort Hood in 2023), and the two are hard to separate on a map. Fort Cavazos runs fifteen gates, and each one keeps its own hours depending on which side of post it sits on. Bernie Beck Gate, off T.J. Mills Boulevard, is the main entrance and runs 24 hours; it's also the required gate for any vehicle without a DoD registration decal. Clear Creek Gate, on the Harker Heights side, also runs around the clock and is the route a lot of families use for the short commute in from Harker Heights neighborhoods. North and South Clark Gates and the East and Range Road gates round out the 24-hour list. The gates that see the most Killeen-side and Copperas Cove-side traffic, Fort Cavazos Street Gate off SH 195, and the Copperas Cove North and South gates, run a shorter window of roughly 5:30am to 8:00pm on weekdays.

Killeen

Inside Killeen, we cover the corridors where most of the daily traffic and parking actually happens: WS Young Drive and its commercial stretch, the Stan Schlueter Loop interchange with State Highway 195 in south Killeen, Rancier Avenue, Veterans Memorial Boulevard, and the Trimmier Road corridor, one of the faster-growing sections of the city. Neighborhoods including Clear Creek, Andalucia, Heritage Oaks, Oak Valley, and Saddle Ridge all fall inside our normal run.

Harker Heights

Harker Heights sits between Killeen and Belton, along FM 2410 and US 190. It's a common landing spot for military families PCSing in, partly because of the schools and partly because it's a short run to the Clear Creek Gate. We cover apartment complexes and neighborhoods along FM 2410 and the US 190 corridor through the Heights without an extra trip charge.

Copperas Cove

Copperas Cove sits at the junction of US Highway 190 and FM 116, on the west side of Fort Cavazos. Business US 190 runs through the middle of town and still carries heavy local traffic even with the newer US 190 bypass routing through-traffic around the south side of the city since 2015. We cover Cove calls regularly, especially around the Business 190 corridor and the neighborhoods feeding into the Copperas Cove gates.

Temple Edge

We reach the near edge of Temple along US 190, though calls further east than that start to push past our normal radius. If you're near the Temple line, call and give us your cross streets; we'll tell you straight whether it's an easy add-on or a stretch.

One limit to know: we don't cross into Lampasas or Coryell county work outside the Copperas Cove city limits without a call first to confirm it's worth the drive both ways.

Common Questions

Can you meet me right at a gate?

We meet at the nearest safe, legal parking area to the gate you use, usually a visitor lot or a nearby commercial lot, rather than working directly in gate traffic lanes.

Do you charge extra to come to Copperas Cove?

No separate trip fee inside our normal coverage ring, which includes Copperas Cove. Confirm your specific address when you call so we can tell you straight if it's inside that ring.

What if I'm just outside your radius?

Tell us your cross streets or ZIP code when you call. Sometimes a short stretch past our normal line still makes sense depending on the job; other times we'll tell you honestly it's not a fit.

Tell Us Where You're Parked

We cover Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, and the Temple edge. Outside that ring, say so in the notes and we'll tell you straight if we can make it work.

Phone is the only required field. We call back, we don't email-chain you.
